There aren’t many gifts you could hook Drake up with that he hasn’t seen before, but Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena may have done just that on Tuesday night (Aug. 21).
The venue blessed the 6 God with a customized Monopoly board game during his stop home on the Aubrey & the Three Migos Tour. The “North Side Edition” is dedicated to Drake’s career’s accolades, including events and those in his inner circle that have played a crucial role in his success.
The signature black and gold board features the faces of Drake as well as OVO sidekicks Noah “40” Shebib and Oliver El-Khatib across the multi-colored Monopoly dollars. A few of the over 100 references on the board expose a couple Drizzy favorites, such as Toronto’s Sotto Sotto restaurant and Kennedy Station, where he holed up to record during the early portion of his rise.
Drake’s father Dennis Graham and bodyguard Baka Not Nice also found their way onto playing cards. In addition to a pair of gold dice, custom playing pieces tailored to the OVO rapper’s interests feature options made in the shape of a Nike Air Jordan sneaker, Jimmy’s signature wheelchair on Degrassi, Sade‘s face, and a Bugatti Veyron.
The Aubrey & the Three Migos Tour rumbles through NYC this weekend with a string of shows at the historic Madison Square Garden starting on Friday night (Aug. 24).
