Whether Kiki loves Drake or not, her name has been sung by the likes of Ciara, Will Smith, Kevin Hart and more celebrities as part of the viral “In My Feelings” challenge. Originally dubbed #DoTheShiggy on Instagram, the challenge has garnered more than 2.3 million tweets, specifically dedicated to the #kikichallenge, #DoTheShiggy, and terms like Kiki and Keke, Twitter reports. Drake’s name alone has been tweeted more than 7.5 million times since June 29, when his fifth studio album Scorpion was released.
The dance behind the Scorpion track — which currently sits at No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 — has been performed at various locations, from Capetown, South Africa, to Budapest, Hungary.
This is hardly the first time a song has spawned a viral dance challenge. The ’90s song “My Boo” by Ghost Town DJ’s made a comeback in 2016 when two high schoolers started a running man dance to the track and two Maryland basketball players had their version spark the #RunningManChallenge. That same year, the #MannequinChallenge took off when another group of students acted frozen in time when “Black Beatles” by Rae Sremmurd came on. Like the #RunningManChallenge, it was later picked up by athletes and celebrities.
