Drake still hasn’t forgotten about the Toronto Raptors hoisting their first Larry O’Brien Trophy in June. To commemorate the title, Drizzy gifted each Raptor from the championship team with a customized “Best in the World” satin jacket. Point guard Fred Van Vleet showed his off on social media on Tuesday (Oct. 29).
The black bomber jacket features a red OVO owl on the front and each player’s name and number engraved down the right sleeve with a Raptors logo above, and reads “The Best in the World” with the Larry O’Brien Trophy across the back. Drake actually wore the same one during the Raptors’ championship parade back in June.
Drizzy was there every step of the way during Toronto’s run to the 2018-2019 title on the back of superstar Kawhi Leonard. Sitting in his usual courtside spot harassing the opposition, the 6 God also serves as an official brand ambassador to the team. Drake even customized his own championship ring in addition to receiving the original.
Check out snaps of the jacket below.
