After laughing it up courtside at Wednesday night’s Lakers-Thunder game (Dec. 23) with singer/actor Tyrese, Oscar winner Denzel Washington and esteemed comic Cedric The Entertainer, he managed to reunite with his former onscreen flame, Andrea Lewis. Degrassi: The Next Generation diehards may recall her as Hazel, girlfriend to Drizzy’s character Jimmy for several seasons.

He wrote under his snapshot with Lewis, “Forever my ting.”
In August, he rolled through (sans wheelchair) a Toronto premiere of the new web-series We Are Disorderly, which starred fellow Degrassi alums Al Mukaddam and Mazin Elsadig.
As for his Kodak moment with Denzel, the 6 God wrote a lengthy caption about that time he was too shy to ask for a picture with the Oscar-winning thespian.

“I went to see Denzel Washington in Julius Caesar years ago in NYC with my best friend Mazin,” he wrote. “After the play was done Denzel was standing outside and my boy asked him for a pic and of course he said yes. I was too nervous to ask him for another one so I walked away. I regretted that decision for years. I used to have to look at my boys epic pic and I was convinced I missed the chance to freeze a moment with one of the biggest inspirations in my life. Now its the end of 2015 and here is a picture of me and Tyrese trying to help Denzel work his phone. — Life is a wonderful thing when you are living right. Grateful for this moment.”
The Toronto rapper has much to be thankful this year for after his 2015 releases — If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late and his joint project with Future, What a Time to Be Alive — both debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
