Dos Equis may have the Most Interesting Man in the World, but now Drake‘s Virginia Black whiskey has The Realest Dude Ever.
The hip-hop superstar and his liquor brand unveiled two new retro-inspired commercials on social media over the weekend prominently featuring Drake’s father, Dennis Graham.
“You wanna know who’s not worried about the Most Interesting Man in the World? The Realest Dude Ever,” Drake says at the beginning of each clip, standing in a romantic room with a fire burning behind him while smooth acoustic guitar plays soul licks.
The camera then cuts to Graham, who’s sitting comfortably wearing a full suit and fedora with a glass of Virginia Black in his hand.
“First date? Oh, you know we’re going dutch,” Graham says.
In the second clip, Graham asks, “What’s under my do-rag? Another do-rag.”
Each ad spot ends with Graham saying the same slogan: “Virgina Black, one sip and you’re woo!”
