There may be a lot of things Donald Glover loves, but dominoes aren’t one of them. That much was made clear in the new promo for his upcoming Saturday Night Live appearance, when Glover will host and perform as the musical guest under his moniker Childish Gambino.
In the promo, Beck Bennett is eager to show off his elaborately designed dominoes to SNL castmate Chris Reed. “I’m really excited that Donald Glover is hosting so I stayed up all night building these dominoes for him,” Bennett tells Reed. However, things quickly take a turn for the worse when Reed attempts to show off his new jumping move and ends up ruining Bennett’s surprise for Glover.
From there, Glover enters the room and reveals that he doesn’t even like dominoes, prompting Reed to perform his jumping move again so Glover can see. To Reed’s delight, Glover loves his new move and Beck is left to clean up his domino mess.
Glover will appear on Saturday Night Live this weekend. This fall, the multi-hyphenate will embark on his Childish Gambino tour with Rae Sremmurd and Vince Staples.
