Anyone who has seen (or even heard about) a DJ Khaled show knows he loves to surprise his crowd. With his long list of collaborators over the years, he has plenty of special guests to choose from — and when he’s in a town like Las Vegas for one of the biggest musical events of the year, he’s not going to disappoint.

“You know I got surprises, right?” Khaled asked the crowd as he began his iHeartRadio Music Festival-closing set Saturday night (Sept. 23). Although the surprises were slightly delayed until after DJ Khaled showed off his dance moves to his Rihanna and Bryson Tiller collab “Wild Thoughts,” they were well worth the wait.

As the Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 smash “I’m the One” began, Khaled handled the first chorus on his own before exclaiming, “Make some noise for Quavo!” as the Migos superstar made his way to the end of the catwalk. But, of course, Khaled had “another one” coming — and another one, and another one, and another one.
After Quavo finished his “I’m the One” verse, it wasn’t long before Chance the Rapper joined in the fun, singing his verse and dancing as he sported his signature 3 hat. And once that song came to a close, DJ Khaled teased the crowd that there was more to come but they had to work for it. The teasing didn’t last long, though, as Khaled introduced Travis Scott to the stage to sing his own hits “Butterfly Effect” and “Goosebumps.”

As if the stage wasn’t star-studded enough, DJ Khaled decided to throw a little pop in the hip-hop and next brought out Demi Lovato, who sang her sassy single “Sorry Not Sorry” as Chance, Quavo, Scott and Khaled all bounced around the stage. With the crowd extra hype after such an impressive string of stars, Khaled still had one more surprise in store, which included another No. 1 song (just not his No. 1 this time): French Montana‘s “Unforgettable.”
Montana capped off the list of guests, joining Quavo, Scott, Chance and Khaled at the end of the catwalk for a dance party to the Hot Rap Songs No. 1 hit to close out the night. Between the amount of stars of stage and the amount of hits sung in one 30-minute period, DJ Khaled definitely made the iHeartRadio Music Festival finale unforgettable.
