With rumors swirling for months regarding a possible Future and Schoolboy Q collaboration, DJ Esco finally confirmed the speculation by dropping off his latest single and visual accompaniment to “Code of Honor,” the latest single from his upcoming album Kolorblind.
The music video is both lavish and goofy, with Esco getting fired from a job as a cashier at a gas station and proceeding to attend a wild house party alongside Future and Q. At a mansion in Beverly Hills, Future kicks off the song with his verse as he stands next to an insane collection of cars, rapping, “Who really ready to do it? Who ready to set some standards?”.
A newly fit Schoolboy Q tackles the second verse with his signature grit. “I jump in the Porsche, put ped’ on the ground/ I show out a bag, she move it around/ Rockin the best, go on the mound/ Scatter of a K, go in the house,” Q spits with precision.
Overall, the video is a fitting addition to Esco’s goofy but hard-hitting rap persona, and gets us even more excited for Kolorblind to drop on March 30. Check out the video and the album trailer below.
