Death Grips have released a new video for the penultimate song on its (supposed) final record, The Powers That B, called “On GP.” The most surprising thing about it might be the existence of an actual structure around it. The release is a strong signal that the group’s final record is fast approaching a release, though we’ll likely never know until it’s upon us.
So… when you’ve already savaged the Chateau Marmont, enraged and blown away festival goers and generally upset the conception of both a hip-hop group and an art collective, how do you make a music video to impress? The same thing every dad with grade-school-aged children does.
