On Wednesday (May 3), Danny Brown almost went to war with Delta after the Detroit lyricist threatened to release his scathing diss track against the airline.
Vexed by his delayed flight, Brown voiced his frustration on Twitter. “Y’all f–king up today .. you know I still got that diss song in the stash .. don’t let this be the day I drop that fire feat Dr Dao,” wrote Brown.
Delta quickly responded to his threats in hopes of squashing the issue. “Hi, Danny! Sorry for the difficult trip you had today! Is there anything we can assist with? *DG,” tweeted the airline. Brown pulled back his threats and resolved things amicably in just a single tweet. “Nah we good … you know I love you guys … we all mistakes sometimes .. but y’all accept responsibility .. that’s why I f–k wit y’all,” he said.
This isn’t the first time that Brown chastised Delta on Twitter. In 2012, the “Ain’t It Funny” rapper called the airline out after he nearly missed his Bonnaroo performance. Later that year, he blamed the airline for being stuck in Amsterdam. Then, in 2014, he had difficulty traveling to Cleveland for a show.
Fortunately, Brown and Delta have patched up. Check out the tweets below.
