At this point, there are few rappers/singers/actors/people who haven’t jumped on the “Hotline Bling” hype train — now, Craig David is joining the smooth-grooving massive with his own freestyle over the almost-chart-topping hit.
A Craig David & Drake Mixtape Could Happen, According to Craig David
David, who is allegedly in talks with Drake about a collaborative mixtape (what a time to be alive, indeed), sat in at the U.K.’s Capital FM to show off his improv skills on Saturday (Dec. 19). Running through a slew of different styles, David proved that he’s as adept a house crooner as he is a grime MC — oh, and at mimicking Drake‘s pop singing as well.
