Ciara is busy prepping for the Jackie tour, her first in six years (!). Before she can set off for the month-long U.S. trek, though, she has to get one of the most important pieces in place: the band.

The singer is in the trenches (or rather, behind the judge’s table) to find the perfect match — as she tells Billboard, “I wanted to have the best band I could possibly have, with young fresh energy.”
“It’s been while since I’ve toured, and I’m ready!” says the singer. Her Jackie tour kicks off May 3 in Chicago, but fans everywhere can get the full Ciara experience via an exclusive livestream from Yahoo Live of her concert at The Fillmore in Silver Springs, MD on Sunday, May 9.
