
Chris Brown seems to be making the most of his time while locked behind bars.
Brown has been collaborating on music with R&B singer James DeBarge, who is located in the cell next to him, TMZ reports. Apparently, the two artists can’t see each other but have already written three songs together.

Earlier this month, Brown was ordered to stay in jail after admitting to violating probation by getting into an altercation outside a hotel in Washington, D.C., in 2013.
DeBarge, who was briefly married to Janet Jackson in the 1980s, is currently doing time for drug charges. He was a member of the Motown sibling singing group DeBarge, which had success with such songs as “Rhythm of the Night” and “Who’s Holding Donna Now?”
