The thing about your ex is that you can’t tell them what to do when the relationship’s over. But you can offer to pay their likely very considerable tax bill when they announce they’re voting for a candidate you just can’t stomach. So that’s exactly what comedian/author Chelsea Handler did when she found out that 50 Cent planned to vote for President Donald Trump after finding out what his reported tax rate might be under a Joe Biden presidency.
“WHAT THE F—! (VOTE For TRUMP) IM OUT, ♂️ F— NEW YORK The KNICKS never win anyway. ♂️ I don’t care Trump doesn’t like black people 62 percent are you out of ya f—— mind. ,” 50 (born Curtis Jackson) wrote.
That prompted Handler to reply, “You used to be my favorite ex-boyfriend,” one of a raft of harsh responses the rapper got for his endorsement of the incumbent who has repeatedly made statements that many have been tagged as racist.
Then Handler doubled down on Oct. 21, making 50 a promise that he likely can’t refuse. “Hey f–ker! I will pay your taxes in exchange for you coming to your senses,” she tweeted. “Happily! Black lives matter. That’s you, f–ker! Remember?”
Handler and the rapper briefly dated in 2010 after he was a guest on her E! talk show Chelsea Lately. Ironically, the “Get Rich or Die Tryin'” MC told James Corden last year that he rejected the Trump campaign’s $500,000 offer to appear at his 2016 inauguration because “all money’s not good money.”
Former two-term and Democratic presidential candidate Vice President Biden has said that under his administration he would raise taxes for those making $400,000 or more a year.
Hey fucker! I will pay your taxes in exchange for you coming to your senses. Happily! Black lives matter. That’s you, fucker! Remember? https://t.co/uQsu7DHrRQ
