GET IT WHILE U CAN— Chance The Rapper (@chancetherapper) December 19, 2017
Chance the Rapper and Jeremih are getting ready to unwrap the deluxe version of their 2016 joint Christmas album Merry Christmas Lil’ Mama — a dedication to the pair’s hometown of Chicago. Ahead of the album’s release, the duo stopped by Chi-Town radio station Power 92.3 on Monday night (Dec. 18) to treat their city to an early listen and debuted a new track titled “Ms. Parker.”
Over the smooth, melodic production, Chano shouts out a woman named “Ms. Parker” and attempts to gauge her interest by flirting with her and offering her his assistance with groceries and other good deeds. “Hey, Ms. Parker (Hello)/ Can I shovel your snow?” he croons at the start of the track. “Let me help you with the groceries/ Walk you to the door.”
Jeremih takes over and continues to try and win Ms. Parker over by telling her of his sexual desires. “Let’s go somewhere I can slide down your sled/ I just wanna keep warm I don’t wanna hold your hand/ We growin’ ain’t getting younger let’s live it up in the bed,” Jeremih sings.
Chano revealed that the joint album with arrive “next week” but didn’t officially announce a release date. Aside from Merry Christma, Lil’ Mama, Chano was seen in the studio back in October with Quavo, Childish Gambino, and Lil Yachty. Quavo captioned the silent video, “G A M B I N O H U N C H O L I L B O A T 3 3 3” leaving fans of each party salivating for the track to surface.
