Chance the Rapper took absolutely no chances when he hosted an Open Mike Chicago event Monday night (June 11) at the Harold Washington Library Center. The Windy City hip-hop star introduced Donald Glover to the stage for a rendition of his buzzy Childish Gambino release “This Is America.”
“This Is America” is the artist and actor’s biggest hit yet, peaking at No. 1 in the United States and Australia, and its politically charged clip has surged past 262 million hits on YouTube. He also has the power to freak out a room full of graduating high-schoolers, proof of which is below.

Childish and Chance have more surprises to come. Earlier this year, Glover mentioned that his collaborative project with Chance (real name Chancelor Bennett) “probably will” happen, and Chance hinted that the pair had cut some “amazing” new tracks.
