The trio played a game of Never Have I Ever with DeGeneres, as Chance then revealed a conversation with Offset that propelled him to get engaged, and Cardi also dished on her role in Hustlers.
During the game, Tip admitted he was the only one to hook up with a fan in his career, while Cardi B and Chance have a couple tattoos they regret getting. The Bronx native said she actually has had a few men inked on her. “They gotta go,” she joked. A teenage Chance thought the idea of having “Get back to work” on his chest would serve as good inspiration, which he quickly realized turned out to be a dumb move.
Bardi was shocked at the repeated 16-hour days on set to execute her role as Diamond in Hustlers, but that still won’t deter her from acting in the future, as she’s set to shoot another film this month. “I enjoyed it, and I couldn’t believe I was on set for 16 hours. Like, my god, is this what actors and actresses have to go through?” she said. “You gotta wait on the trailer until it’s your turn, you gotta shoot the same scene like 20 times.”
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper went on to say she was emotional after the last day of shooting Rhythm + Flow, but also felt bad about crushing a few dreams along the way on the show. T.I. chimed in to say they were doing the contestants a favor to help them find their real purpose in life, which wouldn’t be music. “Music is not for some of them, so we needed to get them off that path and clearly find their life’s purpose,” said.
Chance also rehashed the story at Coachella last year, where Offset pulled him to the side at French Montana‘s house party, and encouraged him to take the leap and get married to his girlfriend at the time, Kirsten. “He was like, ‘Yo, you need to take care of business.’ I came back home, and proposed two months later,” Chance stated.
