Cardi B is making major moves. On the heels of announcing the release date for her hotly anticipated debut album Invasion of Privacy, Cardi B has inked a new management deal with Quality Control, Billboard can confirm.
Variety first reported the news of Cardi joining the Quality Control roster. Cardi will be managed by QC’s Kevin “Coach K” Lee and Pierre “Pee” Thomas. Quality Control has become a force to be reckoned with in hip-hop, representing the likes of Migos and Lil Yachty, and Cardi’s addition to the roster only strengthens the label’s reach.
Cardi’s also engaged to Migos’ Offset, and has collaborated with her fiancée a number of times, including on “Lick,” from her mixtape Gangsta Bitch Music, Vol. 2, “Um Yea” from QC’s Quality Control: Control the Streets Vol. 1 and Migos’ Culture II hit “Motorsport.”
Cardi’s new album Invasion of Privacy is slated for release on April 6. The Bronx rapper is also partnering with Tinder to offer a free concert to a university for the dating app’s #SwipeOff competition. The competition began on Tuesday (March 27) and the winner will be announced on Friday.
