Cardi B has been indicted by a Queens grand jury over her involvement in an altercation that took place at Angels Strip Club in Queens, N.Y. on Aug. 29, Billboard can confirm.
The indictment against Cardi B, born Belcalis Almanzar, will be revealed in full at her arraignement date next Tuesday (June 25). TMZ reports that the Bronx native will be hit with 14 charges in total, including felonies for attempted assault. Other charges reportedly include misdemeanor reckless endangerment, assault, criminal solicitation, conspiracy, and harassment.
The 26-year-old was originally arrested back in October in connection to the brawl that took place at the Queens strip club back on Aug. 29. Two bartenders working that night claim they were attacked in the club, and they allege that the hit was put on by Cardi B.
TMZ reported that Cardi was allegedly upset after accusing one of the bartenders of sleeping with Offset. Cardi B reportedly rejected a plea deal offer by the NYC courts offered in April that would have seen her plead guilty to a solo misdemeanor charge.
Billboard has reached out to Cardi B’s reps for comment.
