The “Be Careful” rapper sat down with Ebro from Beats 1 to discuss her new music just days before the April 6 release of her debut album, Invasion of Privacy. Cardi B told Ebro that her supposed feud with Minaj is “Internet made-up,” and perpetuated simply because people love to watch drama.
“Fans and people really want to see that happen because it’s really entertainment to see people beef,” she said while referencing Minaj publicly butting heads with Remy Ma — and how obsessively the Twittersphere follows the drama.
“If you ain’t f–king my man, or if you not taking my money from me, or if you not stop my money then I don’t really give a f–k about you,” she continued.
Cardi B further discussed how she’s spoken to Minaj in person, and advocated for talking through problems like adults instead of “sneak dissing” each other. “Y’all want me to say something bad. Y’all want to annoy me to the fact that I say something bad. I’m not falling for that,” she said.
