Cardi B sat down with Julie Adenuga for Beats 1 on Wednesday (Jan. 10) to talk about dealing with haters, what to expect from her album and fiancé Offset’s bad habits.
The Bronx rapper talked about her most expensive gift, her tangerine Bentley truck. “Somebody that took the train their whole life, to have a car is a big thing,” she said. “But to have a luxury car is like, ‘Oh snap.'”
On her upcoming album, she plans to talk about her family, addressing the haters, being in love and the best designers. So far, we know she likes D2sqared, Givenchy, Versace and Gucci. “I like all that stuff, but you know what else you gon hear about? You gonna hear about Fashion Nova and you gonna hear about Steve Madden,” referencing her shoe deal.
Cardi B said she wants to buy a huge mansion with eight to 10 bedrooms, as her and Offset are planning to get a home together soon.
When asked what the rap couple’s wedding song will be, Cardi had two choices. “It’s between Al B. Sure or Grace Jones.” She also talked about Offset’s bad habit of wasting food. “When he buys food and he don’t eat it,” she said. “I’m a person that sees the spending.”
