If it looks like a relationship and feels like a relationship, it doesn’t necessarily mean it is one. Bridget Kelly refuses to be stuck in an ambiguous romance in her new video “In the Grey,” premiering exclusively on Billboard today (May 1).
The black and white visual for “In the Grey” starts off with Kelly seated at one end of a conference table interrogating her man about the complications in their relationship. “So you don’t really want a serious commitment?” she croons, later telling him she would rather him be truthful so that when she’s asked about their relationship, she knows exactly what to say instead ending up “stuck in the grey” area of a situation-ship.
“Baby I’m peeping how you move/I know you heard what TLC do, baby I’m a “creep” too,” she sings in her rich, soulful voice. “Keep it between me and you/ But I need TLC, too.”
“In the Grey” is Kelly’s latest single from her freshly-released album Reality Bites, featuring lead single “Sedated.” Chaz French, Ro James, and Jordan Bratton were also featured on her debut effort.
