Rapper B.o.B had some choice words for Neil DeGrasse Tyson on his new diss record “Flatline.”
After going back-and-forth with the astrophysicist and arguing for the better part of his timeline that the Earth is flat, Bobby Ray then dropped some bars about Tyson on a new song:
“Hah, am I paranoid? Picture Malcolm X/ In a room full of pigs, trying not to bust a sweat,” B.o.B spits. “Aye, Neil Tyson need to loosen up his vest/ They’ll probably write that man one hell of a check.”
B.o.B Tries to Convince Twitter Earth Is Flat, Neil deGrasse Tyson Responds
There’s a lot to unpack on “Flatline.” After calling out Tyson, he also name-drops NASA, Joseph Stalin, Adolf Hitler and calls on listeners to do their research on David Irving, a well-known Holocaust denier and the author behind several books on World War II focused on Nazi Germany.
“Fuck you and your team, you could sit on the bench with ‘em/ But before you try to curve it, do your research on David Irving,” he continues. “Stalin was way worse than Hitler/ That’s why the POTUS gotta wear a Kipper.”
The Atlanta MC wraps the track with a Tyson speech, where he describes the Earth’s shape as “not actually a sphere, it’s oblate, it’s officially an oblate spheroid.”
A rep for B.o.B offered no comment.
