B.o.B may be turning into a mad scientist on his timeline. After posting a picture of himself on an icy landscape (Jan. 25), the rapper challenged the idea of the Earth being round.
“The cities in the background are approx. 16miles apart… where is the curve ? please explain this,” he tweeted.

The Decatur rep soon became a trending topic for his seemingly random outburst. “A lot of people are turned off by the phrase “flat earth” … but there’s no way u can see all the evidence and not know… grow up,” he tweeted.

He also flooded timelines with photos of clouds, stars and science textbook-esque excerpts supporting the notion that the Earth is flat, contradicting what we all probably learned during circle time in Kindergarten.

Esteemed astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson even weighed in on B.o.B’s remarks. “Flat Earth is a problem only when people in charge think that way. No law stops you from regressively basking in it,” he tweeted. “Duude — to be clear: Being five centuries regressed in your reasoning doesn’t mean we all can’t still like your music.”
@bobatl Earth’s curve indeed blocks 150 (not 170) ft of Manhattan. But most buildings in midtown are waaay taller than that.

“You can regurgitate force fed information all day…, still doesn’t change physics,” continued B.o.B, who has also tweeted about cloning in the past. “Don’t believe what I say, research what I say.”
