Big Sean and Jhene Aiko have joined forces to rolling out a conceptual and collaborative project dubbed Twenty88. The Slauson Hills songstress and the Detroit rapper have previously teamed on tracks like “Beware” (the hit from Sean’s Hall of Fame LP also co-starring Lil Wayne) as well as “I Know” (from the MC’s Dark Sky Paradise effort).
The project will tell “the story of the highs and lows of a relationship, with insights into conflict, memories, love, sex, and more” with producers Key Wane, Detail and Tommy Brown on tap, according to a press release.
A @Twenty88 Twitter account also launched serving up video teasers of Aiko in a orange bob wig alongside a spectacled Sean. The two will make their TV debut as Twenty88 on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! on March 31.
