“Fans can expect more of everything this season: more excitement, more fun, more laughs, and of course, more drama!” Big Freedia tells Billboard. “Also, this season was rough because my mom passed away during the taping. I hope my relationship with her comes through in the show. There’s no script there. Viewers will get a real look at my family and the loss we experienced.”
On Sept 25, Big Freedia took over NYC’s Herald Sqaure for the ‘Record Breaking Bootiy Shaking’ event. She earned the Guinness World Record title for the most people twerking simultaneously.
If you’re in LA you can catch Big Freedia live at the Echoplex on Friday (May 9).
