As two of the biggest stars in the world, Beyoncé and JAY-Z are notoriously private but sometimes offer a rare glimpse into their loving union. The couple just celebrated their 10-year wedding anniversary in April, and during the kick-off of their current On the Run II tour on June 6, attendees got a peek into the renewal of their nuptials.
Shortly after, Bey and Jay also teased candid photos from their upcoming tour book, where they appear intimately cuddled sans clothing.
Here’s a recap of the pair’s most personal moments they’ve shared with fans, from “Crazy in Love” to now.
“Crazy in Love”-era Bey and Jay before their romance went public
Beyoncé and JAY-Z sparked dating rumors with their first collaborations, “03 Bonnie and Clyde” and “Crazy in Love.” More recently, Beyoncé posted a throwback photo of the couple during the “Crazy in Love” era in the Bronx — and named it after one of the songs that first brought attention to them as a couple.
Caught together in the South of France in 2003
The pair appeared together on the cover of Vanity Fair’s Music Issue in 2001. Years later, JAY-Z would reveal to VF that they had just begun dating, so this #tbt photo that Bey shared of them in the South of France was a couple of years into the relationship — just like those iconic first musical collaborations.
A family moment at the VMAs and a sweet onstage kiss
Beyoncé has taken to the VMA stage for many jaw-dropping moments — like when she revealed her baby bump at the 2011 awards show. Her and Jay’s first child Blue Ivy was born a few months later in 2012, and when Blue was 2, the family made another appearance at the show in 2014. After Bey’s performance, she was joined onstage by Jay and Blue, where she received a sweet kiss from her hubby and cheers from Blue.
Personal home movies make their debut in the “All Night” video
Photos from Bey and Jay’s 2008 wedding were rarely seen until Beyonce released her confessional album Lemonade in 2016. The video showed off unity and love among many couples, and woven throughout were home movies from Beyoncé’s pregnancy, the wedding and more.
Posing in the City of Love during the European leg of the Formation Tour
It was once again a family affair during Beyoncé 2016 Formation Tour. During the European leg of the excursion, the romantic city of Paris made for some cute photo backdrops — here JAY-Z adoringly kisses his wife on the cheek in front of the Eiffel Tower
Making silly faces backstage during Kanye’s concert at Madison Square Garden
The couple made an appearance at Kanye West’s Life of Pablo tour during the New York stop. Backstage, they got up close and personal and showed off their sense of humor by making funny faces at each other.
Beyoncé updates “Die With You” with a video featuring home movies from their wedding, pregnancy and more
Beyoncé first released a Tidal-exclusive track called “Die With You” in 2015, a sweet ballad dedicated to her husband. For their ninth wedding anniversary in 2017, she updated the video with a collection of home videos from vacations, holidays and more.
Looking oh so in love during the Carter Push Party before the twins arrive
Bey and Jay welcomed their twins Sir and Rumi in June 2017. Leading up to the twins’ arrival, they had a colorful push party (similar to a baby shower but more in celebration of the mom-to-be) with a handful of famous friends and loved ones in attendance. In these Instagram photos, they can be seen smiling adoringly at each other in their themed attire.
A sweet embrace captured the day Bey revealed the twins
Queen B broke the internet when she shared her first photo of the twins once they turned a month old. She posed luxuriously with them next to a well-manicured garden and later shared a pic of her and Jay in the same locale, looking so in love.
Decked out in white for their vow renewal in OTR II videos — and the twins surface again
The OTR II tour kicked off in Cardiff, Wales, on June 6 and Beyoncé and JAY-Z entertained with an exciting selection of hits from their illustrious catalogs. While first photos from the show featured twins that were not Sir and Rumi, the couple shared photos from their vow renewal — and this time the children were in attendance.
Intimately intertwined for OTR II Tour book
Since the release of their albums Lemonade and 4:44, Bey and Jay have been more candid about their relationship — and with the release of their tour book, they didn’t hold back. Photos from the publication show them looking cozy on vacation in their birthday suits.
