BET’s FINDING digital series returns with another jam-packed list of guests slated for season 2. Billboard learned on Tuesday (Aug. 20) that the series will release its premiere episode on Aug. 23, featuring a sit-down with St. Lunatics rapper-turned-entrepreneur Murphy Lee.
Each episode will debut on BET’s YouTube page. Other artists you might be wondering where they are now who rose to prominence in the late ’90s and early 2000s that were tracked down for this season include the YoungBloodZ, Lil Zane, Nicole Wray, Case, and Jackpot artist Chingy.
Lee touches on signing his life away before going on to launch U C Me Entertainment, America’s initially split reaction to the St. Lunatics, and not having any type of ill-will toward childhood friend and global phenom, Nelly.
“Nelly changed my life,” the Missouri native said of his St. Lunatics runningmate. “He put himself on the line for us to do things. So I never would talk bad about him, and I’m spitting someone in the face for talking bad about him to this day.”
Season 2 kicks off with Murphy Lee on Aug. 23. Watch the FINDING trailer below.
