Adam “Ad-Rock” Horovitz and Michael “Mike D” Diamond of Beastie Boys announced Monday (Sept. 24) that they will be embarking on a six-date tour in support of their new Beastie Boys Book.
The Beastie Boys Book: Live & Direct tour will feature readings, conversation, a question-and-answer segment and special guests. Mix Master Mike will score the event, which also features a new Beastie Boys exhibit that is curated by the rappers in partnership with Beyond the Streets and Adidas Skateboarding. The sound for the exhibit will be provided by Sonos, who will play a mixtape curated by Mike D and Ad-Rock.
The book, set to arrive on Oct. 30, is now available for preorder. Tickets to the book tour go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. local time and will include a physical copy of the book with every ticket purchased, available to redeem upon entry to the event. The book tour kicks off at New York City’s Town Hall a day before the release on Oct. 29 and will conclude in London on Nov. 30.
