Along with the Rev. Jamal Bryant, he visited Baltimore’s Frederick Douglass High School this morning for the students’ first day back since the recent protests. As he told Good Day DC regarding the city’s riots, “My heart was broken. But at the same time, to be realistic, you can understand why. I’m not going to sit up here and act like it’s something that it’s not.”
