On the first day of Black History Month, rapper Azealia Banks announced that she was officially voting for Donald Trump. In a Kanye-sized Twitter stream of consciousness, the Harlem rep explained her choice while also throwing shots at the other candidates.

Banks continues on by responding to the backlash on her timeline. “why are you guys telling me to kill myself ? That’s what’s wrong with the USA. Everyone pretends to be open-minded but they’re really not.,” she wrote in one tweet. “No critical thinking allowed for the black woman. Sheesh.”

She further explained her stance. “No, to sum up my rant the USA owes my people reparations so I can round them up and get the fuck out of here … And to sum up my rant: I am saying that politicians are inherently evil, I trust the one who is most transparent.”
Banks also announced that she will be dropping a record called “The Big Big Beat” on Feb. 7.
