“Now I’m working on [A$AP] Yams’ album,” he told BBC 1xtra’s Charlie Sloth in an interview that aired over the weekend. Apparently, Yams “started the album before he passed, and he left his notebooks and blueprints.”
“I’m just picking up where he left off — me and him was gonna do the album together,” Rocky continued. “He was working on a crazy album.”
Rocky assured fans he won’t let them down with the (always-fraught) tribute album. “I’m letting people know that if I do something good,” he told the DJ, “the next thing I do will have to be great.”
