A$AP Rocky and Joey Bada$$ will be hosting an A$AP Yams tribute concert — aptly titled “Yams Day” — at New York City’s Terminal 5 a year after the A$AP Mob co-founder’s death on Jan. 18, 2016.
Steven “A$AP Yams” Rodriguez was one of the founding fathers of the Harlem hip-hop collective known as A$AP Mob, responsible for launching the careers of A$AP Rocky and A$AP Ferg. He passed away this past January from an accidental drug overdose.

Rocky earned his second No. 1 album with his sophomore effort, At.Long.Last.A$AP, on the Billboard 200 chart in June. Bada$$ also enjoyed success at the top of the year with his debut set B4.DA.$$, which entered the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart at No. 1 in January.
Other Yams Day performers will include the A$AP Mob, Lil Uzi, and special guests yet to be announced. Tickets will go on sale Friday, Dec. 18, and can be purchased here.
