As A$AP Rocky remains behind bars in Sweden, a plethora of artists have come forward to voice their support for Rocky, as some like Tyga have even gone as far as to cancel Swedish shows. Fellow Mob frontman A$AP Ferg hasn’t said much regarding the altercation that led to his brother’s arrest, but he sat down for his first on-camera interview to discuss the matter with Sway Calloway for TRL Top 10, which premieres Saturday morning at 10 a.m. ET on MTV.
“It’s a very touchy situation because they got different laws over there in Sweden. I haven’t gotten the chance to speak with him. They’re not letting him speak to anybody. We are trying our best to get him out of the situation and I believe he’s going to pull through,” Ferg explained while rocking a “Free The Mob” shirt. “Free all of the guys. They’re going to be alright. I know God got us.”
As far as what fans can do, the Harlem native wants every supporter to keep his name alive in the streets and to have as many people as possible sign the official #JusticeForRocky petition, which boasts more than half a million signatures. “Each one of y’all help,” said Ferg. “That one person can make a difference by signing that petition. Let’s just make sure we keep shouting his name and Free The Mob!”
Watch a portion of the interview above and tune in Saturday morning at 10 a.m. ET on MTV for the full chat.
