A$AP Ferg is calling for Sweden to “#freeflako.”
The A$AP Mob member took to Instagram Friday (July 5) to defend his friend and collaborator A$AP Rocky following his arrest in Sweden on suspicion of assault. Rocky was arrested Tuesday night after a video surfaced of him apparently throwing a man through the air.
“He’s in Sweeden locked up in solitary confinement with no visit or phone call privileges,” A$AP Ferg captioned his post.
“They are trying to keep him there for 2 weeks and if convicted he will be looking at 6 years just for defending himself in a fight. He was no way in form the aggressor in this ordeal. Pray for justice #freeflacko.”
As previously reported, the video was taken Sunday evening in central Stockholm and shows A$AP Rocky tossing grabbing and tossing a man several feet. The rapper claims the man in question was following him and repeatedly harassing him and his entourage.
Rocky was ordered held by a Swedish court Friday (July 5) for two weeks in pre-trial detention while police investigate the fight, the Associated Press reports.
