Between trolling Kanye West on Twitter and waving “bye” to Instagram over claims that it removed one of his posts without notification, 50 Cent had a very busy day on social media Wednesday (May 9).
A week after 50 took to Insta to mock ‘Ye’s TMZ admission that he got liposuction surgery to avoid getting called fat, the “In Da Club” rapper was at it again on Wednesday, posting a series of tweets in which he appeared to be making fun of West.
“I’m going to bed hungry tonight because I don’t want you guys to call me fat,” he wrote. “And I don’t want to get lipo.” The post was spiked with a eyebrow-up quizzical emoji.

Earlier, before posting a few sweet pictures of his son at the Dodgers game, 50 seemed to take a few more swings at Kanye, tweeting about being “the best ever” and quipping, “look at the bright side, I could be saying slavery was a choice,” an apparent reference to West’s controversial claim to that effect from his TMZ interview and the “Lift Yourself” MC’s frequent claims of superiority.
I’m so amazing, I’m the best ever, no one is better then me.

At the same time he was regaling his 10 million Twitter followers with his latest digs at West, 50 also announced that he was dipping out on his nearly 18 million Instagram fans following what he claimed was a censorship by the Facebook-owned photo app. “I’m leaving IG, I’m going back to Twitter. They take shit down off my page with out notifying me. #censorthesenuts,” he wrote alongside an Insta post in which he’s raising a glass of champagne. He didn’t, however, specify which content was censored.
That announcement was followed by four blacked out posts that appeared to contain no content. On Twitter, 50 wrote, “I had to leave IG, I’m practicing abstinence.”
I? had to leave IG, I’m practicing abstinence.

HotNewHipHop.com reported that the flight from Instagram came after the social network censored a screen shot of singer Teairra Mari’s sex tape — an image that Billboard could not confirm at press time. On Wednesday, Love & Hip-Hop star Mari announced that her social media was hacked by an ex-lover and that she planned to pursue legal action.
“Recently, my social media was compromised by someone who I felt was deserving of my love and trust,” she wrote on Twitter. “I recognize the need to be more cautious and discerning. My hope is for women to remain strong and dignified when they find themselves having to address hateful and juvenile acts by former lovers who find it difficult to act in an adult manner. Revenge Porn is a crime in California and I will be in pursuit of justice.” In California, revenge porn can lead to a misdemeanor and up to six months in jail.
A spokesperson for Instagram did not specify the exact violation, but tells Billboard that, “content was removed from 50 Cent’s account for violating Instagram’s Community Guidelines.” The site does not allow pornographic material on its service and its terms specify: “You may not post violent, nude, partially nude, discriminatory, unlawful, infringing, hateful, pornographic or sexually suggestive photos or other content via the Service.”
