Kanye West’s appearance on TMZ rocked the hip-hop sphere Tuesday afternoon (May 1), causing a multitude of stars to weigh in on his controversial thoughts on slavery. 50 Cent — a one-time adversary of West — chimed in on Instagram and shared a clip, shredding the Chicago star for admitting to once having liposuction.
“Wait what,” 50 wrote on Instagram. “That’s what a bitch do when she want a fat ass. LOL get the strap.” During West’s time on TMZ, he explained how he once got liposuction due to the constant pressure he endured prior to the time of his wedding. “I was drugged the fuck out, bro,” he told TMZ. “I was addicted to opioids. I had plastic surgery because I was trying to look good for y’all. I got liposuction because I didn’t want y’all to call me fat like you called Rob at the wedding, and made him fly home before me and Kim got married.”
Elsewhere in his interview, Kanye sparked outrage for his comments on slavery. “When you hear about slavery for 400 years, for 400 years? That sound like a choice,” he said. “You was there for 400 years, and it’s all of y’all? We’re mentally in prison. Slavery goes to direct to the idea of blacks. Slavery, Holocaust, Holocaust is Jews, slavery is blacks. Prison unites us as one race…We’re the human race.”
