21 Savage is staying busy in the days since being released from ICE detention on Wednesday. The 26-year-old appeared on Good Morning America Friday (Feb. 15) to provide some insight into his treacherous nine-day stint behind bars. Hours later, Savage made his anticipated return to Instagram, posting a captionless photo sharing a smile that speaks more than a thousand words.
TMZ also published a report that 21 had to take care of some outstanding legal issues in Georgia. The Slaughter Gang rapper stopped by the Liberty County Sheriff’s Department on Friday, where he was booked for theft by deception charges, which stem from him allegedly bailing on a 2016 club performance gig for which he was already paid $17,000.
The report goes on to say that the club owner decided to pursue the case once again after 21 was scooped up by ICE since the original felony warrant fell on deaf ears. The “Bank Account” artist will be allowed the opportunity to have the charge go away if he coughs up the $17,000 back to the club, which he is expected to do, rather than fight the charge in court.
