
2 Chainz can cross off a $5 million lawsuit from his list of worries. In July, a woman named Christine Chisholm sued the Atlanta rapper for a hefty amount after he had called her a “thot” (an acronym for “that hoe over there”) in a viral video from what appeared to be backstage at a show.

A federal judge in North Carolina ruled that calling a person a “thot” was not “extreme or outrageous conduct,” according to TMZ. When Chisholm filed the suit, she claimed that she was fired from her job at a barbershop because her boss feared “negative publicity.” She also claimed that the attention from the video has damaged her reputation.

A rep for 2 Chainz did not immediately respond to Billboard‘s request for comment.
UPDATE: 2 Chainz addressed the lawsuit on Instagram with an adorable video of his recently born son, with the caption “PSA from Lil Chain.” The rapper could be heard in the background, saying, “We won that case today. We threw that case out.” Watch below.
