2 Chainz returned to share his highly-anticipated Rap Or Go to the League album on Friday (March 1).
The ATL native didn’t hold back when crafting his star-studded guest list for the album, as the effort calls on Marsha Ambrosius, Young Thug, Travis Scott, Kendrick Lamar, Ariana Grande, Ty Dolla $ign, Lil Wayne, E-40, Chance The Rapper, and Kodak Black. Chainz’s Pretty Girls Like Trap Music follow-up spans 55 minutes over 14 tracks.
Rap Or Go to the League fittingly kicks off the opening track with real audio from one of his high-school basketball games of him being announced in the starting lineup pre-game by his government alias of Tauheed Epps. Meanwhile, Chainz hit the stage with former Floetry member Marsha Ambrosius Thursday night (Feb. 28) to perform “Forgiven” on the Tonight Show.
The project also features LeBron James as the A&R, which makes him the first athlete to A&R a rap album in history.
