Even though they’re two of Atlanta’s OGs in hip-hop, Future and 2 Chainz have rarely linked up on the music side. Chainz took to social media on Tuesday (July 30) to clear the air and debunk the idea that the pair ever were feuding, as they finally connected for a banger that Tity Boi will look to release in the near future.
“People thought me and Bru had a problem w/ each other which is not true,” the “Rule the World” rapper wrote. “We have some the same street connections and spoke alot behind closed doors! This song I’m droppin #DEADMANWALKING a celebration for the streets. 2 hustlas who made it out the mud w/o hating on each other!”
Chainz also posted footage to IG possibly on set of the video shoot to their upcoming “Dead Man Walking” collaboration, which the Drench God called “the hardest song in the world.” Future hops in the clip and says uniting with his fellow ATL rap staple was “long overdue.” “I’m finna put the song out in a minute,” Chainz added.
