Zendaya is taking on reality TV as a guest judge on Wednesday night’s (June 24) episode of GSN’s Skin Wars alongside Rebecca Romjin and RuPaul. The GSN show centers on competitive body painting, with professionals from across the industry vying for a $100,000 grand prize.

“I’d never seen it in person, which made it really cool for me,” Zendaya tells Billboard of her appearance on the show’s music-themed episode. “To actually see artists do it first-hand — literally, I could touch the person. It was pretty cool.”

“[RuPaul is] just so genuine and kind,” she continued. “We were playing charades and just hanging out — he really made us feel comfortable. It was a good day on set.” So will fans see Zendaya in body paint anytime soon? Maybe, though she says, “I’d probably have to have a little more clothes on!”
The actress/singer recently had another big moment in front of the camera, with her recent cameo in Taylor Swift‘s star-studded “Bad Blood” video. She told Billboard how she came up with the name Cutthroat: “We were just chilling, and it came to my part — I did a little face, and I sliced [across my neck] — and we were like, ‘Hey, that’s tight, like cutthroat.’ Taylor was like, ‘Hey, that’s perfect!’ It just happened very naturally, which I thought was cool.”

As far as her own music, Zendaya is tight-lipped about what’s coming next. “I’ve been in the studio a lot,” she said, “just trying to create and make something that I’m really, really proud of — I don’t like to rush the process.” She’s excited about the people she’s had behind the soundboard, though: “I’ve been able to, this time around, work with a lot of people that I’ve looked up to for a long time, like Babyface and Timbaland,” she said. “That was really cool for me.”
