Another visual for one of the catchiest jams of 2018 has arrived.
Zedd’s infectious hit “The Middle,” which first premiered during the 2018 Grammy Awards, has gotten another visual treatment devised for mobile. The vertical music video features Maren Morris, Zedd and electronic duo Grey, the latter of which are seen banging away on an electronic drum set and strumming a jet-black guitar.
Maren Morris and Zedd recently gave an in depth behind-the-scenes look as part of a new video series for The New York Times. “They played it for me and were like, ‘What do you think?’” Zedd told the Times’ Joe Coscarelli via FaceTime. “I felt, if done right, this could be a huge smash. So we start working on it together. Everybody started loving it. Let’s just find the vocalist, which was something that ended up taking, as you know, quite a long time.”
