Zara Larsson dropped a brand new album, sophomore effort So Good, on Friday (March 17), which includes the poppy bad-for-me-romance tale “Don’t Let Me Be Yours.”
What fans may not realize while bopping along to the track is that Ed Sheeran co-wrote the song with the Swedish singer, and he gave his stamp of approval across his social media platforms.
The catchy and smooth vocals of Zara work perfectly with the melody that’s in sync with a great beat throughout the song. Also, we hear a hint of Sheeran throwing some background vocals throughout the chorus, which is a sweet bonus to this special track.
In a Capital FM interview, the “Shape Of You” singer described working with the new artist and was impressed by her talent. She “just nailed it the first time,” while they were recording in the studio together.
