The Colin Tilley-directed video is a kind of Groundhog Day redux, with Yungblud trying to save Halsey before a car crash. He repeatedly wakes up and sets his stopwatch for 11 minutes, before racing through the city to make it to Halsey in time. The story is told through chapters representing the stages of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, depression and finally acceptance.
“We don’t realise how much we need something until it’s taken away from us,” Yungblud says in a press release for the video. “We are so distracted and focused on what’s next, we can fail to see what is actually in front of us.”
The emotional music video also has serveral intense shots of Travis Barker passionately playing the drums.
