Over the course of 2017, we asked you which artist was dominating the year as it wore on (and when the year wraps, we’ll reveal the winners of each of those polls).
For now, we’re asking one more time as we near the close of 2017: Which artist truly stood head-and-shoulders above the rest in 2017? Was it an A-lister like Beyonce or Justin Bieber, who scored massive hits even though they didn’t release a new album? Or a returning pop star such as Taylor Swift? Or perhaps it was a fresh face making their presence felt on the Billboard Hot 100, like Post Malone or Cardi B? Or was it BTS, the first K-pop group to notch a top 40 hit in U.S. history?
