BTS is hoping to open the weekend with a bang after they drop their English single “Dynamite,” which is already scheduled to make its television debut during BTS’ performance at the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, Aug. 30. Meanwhile, Iggy Azalea and Tinashe are packing double the trouble for their second collaboration “DLNW.” The two first linked up for a remix of Tinashe’s “All Hands on Deck” hit back in 2015.
“So soooo excited about this one! All hands on deck rmx is one of my favorite moments!” the “Fancy” rapper posted on Instagram last week with the official cover art. “So yeah – I’m crazy excited for a round 2 & insanely grateful to have you be a part of this record @tinashenow we made another one for the books.”
Charlie Puth will also perform an original end-credit song “Free,” which was written by 11-time Oscar-nominated songwriter Diane Warren, for Disney’s new movie The One and Only Ivan. It will premiere on Disney+ on Friday, the same date the official soundtrack will be available.
But JoJo will deliver the 16-track deluxe edition of her Good To Know album next Friday, Aug. 28, which boasts five brand new songs, the highly anticipated “Lonely Hearts” remix with Demi Lovato, and a “Love Reggae” collab with Tinashe.
“The silver lining to my quarantine was being able to work on and record these new records. It also allowed me the opportunity to collaborate with Demi Lovato and Tinashe,” JoJo said in a press statement. “Both women are talented, smart, resilient, bold, and beautiful. Really happy they jumped on these songs and elevated them to another level.”
