“My My My!” sure got the pop blogosphere buzzing when Troye Sivan dropped the euphoric single two weeks back, and on the Jan. 20 episode of Saturday Night Live, it got a dazzling national TV performance.
Serving as SNL musical guest for the first time, Sivan opened his two-song slate with a passionate “My My My!” performance, complete with sultry dance moves like the ones from the track’s video.
Later on in the episode, Sivan dialed things down and soared through a performance of “The Good Side,” the airy acoustic ballad he released just days ago. Like “My My My!,” it featured his same backing band (guitarist, keyboardist, and drummer) but this time, Sivan and the band set the mood to dreamy, pensive, and a little psychedelic.
“My My My!” and “The Good Side” are expected to be included on Sivan’s forthcoming sophomore album, dude this spring on Capitol Records.
