Sporting a silky black crop top and billowing pants, five sultry backup dancers, and numerous sparkling disco balls, Meghan Trainor shined bright on The Late Show Wednesday night (June 6) as she performed her funky new single “Let You Be Right.” The singer kept it cool, nailing the tight choreography with ease, as she broke out into a seductive two-step while lights flashed all around her. As the song broke down at the bridge, the performance became kaleidoscopic, with Trainor riffing the song’s chorus effortlessly.
The performance was similar in style to the single’s psychedelic music video, which dropped on Monday (June 4). While Trainor has been mum on details surrounding her upcoming third album, “Let You Be Right,” and “Can’t Dance” are a strong indication that the album is going to be colorful, dance-influenced, and infectiously catchy.
