The Japanese House has announced a North American tour following the release of the dreamy new single “Lilo” in September.
The Japanese House (the moniker for indie solo artist Amber Bain), will begin her eleven-date tour in L.A. on Dec. 1. Tickets go on sale Friday (Oct. 12) at 10:00 a.m. local time here.
“Lilo” is The Japanese House’s first release since her 2017 EP Saw You In A Dream. In a press release, Bain said that she was inspired to write “Lilo” after learning to experience love again after heartbreak. “‘Lilo’ is a song about that relationship, how she was everything I needed at that time,” she said. “I feel very close to this song as I began writing it just before this relationship and came to an end. Now, it is a reminder to me that I am good at falling in love and I can survive falling out of it.”
